Dicoumarin poisoning mainly occurs in cattle, and other animals rarely occur. Poisoning occurs slowly and usually occurs after 2 to 3 weeks of feeding grass roots. The symptoms of bovine poisoning are appetite changes, body weakness, unstable gait, difficulty exercising, and sometimes claudication, low body temperature, trembling, and dilated pupils. The disease is a prolonged clotting time. Hematoma is formed on the neck, back, and sometimes under the skin of the hindquarters. There may be bloody foam in the nostrils and blood may also be found in the milk. This disease can be treated with vitamin K. Pay attention to the gradual increase in the amount of feeding when feeding grass crickets, not suddenly feeding in large quantities, do not feed moldy rancidity.
