Management of laying hens

From the age of 19 weeks, the light is kept for 10 hours every day; from 20 weeks of age, the light is increased every day for 30 minutes until it reaches the light for 17 hours per day.

3, add vitamin sources: Layers after 3 to 5 days after the group, in the layer chicken feed to add an appropriate amount of vitamins, in order to increase the disease resistance of the flock.

4, to prevent stress measures: the group work in winter at warm noon, summer in the cool morning. Bring the chicken to an empty stomach before switching to the group. Add appropriate amount of antibiotics to the feed 3 to 5 days after the transfer, so as to prevent the chicken from adapting to the environment and not adapting to the disease.

5, reasonable group management: Before the group is transferred to the chicken group inspection, according to the size of the chicken grouping, in order to take relative management measures.

6. Appropriate time and appropriateness: Laying hens generally start production at around 20 weeks of age. In order to become familiar with the environment as soon as possible and to make them a harmonious group, they generally need to be transferred at the age of 18 weeks, otherwise the egg production will be affected.
