Eastern goat

Qidong goat is a unique livestock and poultry species in Ningde City of Fujian Province. The agricultural science and technology experts from the Ningde Institute of Agricultural Science and other departments traced the source, and carried out a series of livestock genetic resources protection and research work, identified as China's newly discovered local excellent goat breeds, Fujian Fuqing Goat, Dehua Daiyun The goat was later identified by the country as the "third sheep."

The male and female ewes are pale yellow in color and have different color segments on the single fibers of the coat. The ram facial nose has a nearly triangular black hair area extending from the head back to the tail with a black band. The ewe's back is lighter than the ram's; the ram's neck, ribs and belly are white. The color of the ribs and ventral junction and legs is black. There are black bands on the front and rear of the male and female wrist joints and ankle joints, and the rest are white.
