Raw eggs prone to gastroenteritis

Some people think that eating raw eggs is nutritious and therefore advocates eating raw. This is wrong. Eating raw eggs not only makes it difficult to absorb nutrients, but it also damages the human body. This is because:

(1) The protein of raw eggs is not easily digested and absorbed. Most of them are only passed through the digestive tract and are excreted.

(2) Raw egg whites contain a basic protein, avidin, which is harmful to the human body. This avidin prevents the body's absorption of biotin and the human body may suffer from biotin deficiency. Heated cooked eggs are destroyed by this avidin.

(3) Eating raw eggs can increase the burden on the liver. A large amount of undigested proteins enter the digestive tract, causing spoilage and producing more toxic substances, adding to the burden on the liver.

(4) Raw eggs are inevitably invaded by some pathogens and enter the body, prone to gastroenteritis.

Eggs cooked or fried to eat, nutritious, easy to digest, no bacteria, is a good nutritious food.
