How to use farm motor correctly

1. The fuse motor must be installed in the motor circuit. During operation, it may be grounded due to burnout of the winding insulation, or a short circuit may occur due to the collision of the terminals. In order to protect the power supply and quickly eliminate short-circuit faults, fuses must be installed in the motor circuit 2 . The rated current of the fuse can be 2.5 to 3 times the rated current of the motor. In this way, when the motor is over-spending, the fuse is not easily blown, and when a short-circuit fault occurs in the circuit, the fuse can be quickly blown to protect the motor. In certain heavy-duty overloaded electric circuits, the value of the rated current of the fuse can be increased by a large amount, which can effectively reduce the phase failure of the fuse (that is, the fuse blows a phase and causes a single-phase operation. The winding is burned out, but still has enough short-circuit protection. 2. Pay attention to the temperature change when the motor is running. If the motor temperature does not exceed the maximum allowable temperature of the insulation material used, the insulation material has a long life of more than 20 years; if the temperature exceeds the maximum allowable temperature, the insulation material will be aged and become brittle. While shortening the service life of the motor, the insulation material will be carbonized and changed in a serious manner to promote the insulation performance and cause the motor to burn out. Therefore, during the operation of the motor, if it is found that the motor temperature exceeds the maximum temperature, it shall immediately stop the inspection to avoid burning the motor. In addition, if it is found that the temperature of the motor is much lower than the maximum temperature, the load is too small, and the load can be increased or replaced with a low-power motor. 3. Correctly selecting the power of the motor If the power is selected too much, it will cause waste and increase investment, and because the motor is often in a low-load operation, the efficiency and electric power are reduced, resulting in a decline in economic efficiency. Conversely, if the power selection is small, the motor will run overloaded, causing the speed to decrease and the temperature to rise, causing premature motor damage. Therefore, choosing the right power motor can improve the economic efficiency and prolong the service life of the motor.
