British scientists breed female sperm and have no male

The development of technology is no longer dependent on men.

Scientists at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom have successfully produced sperm cells from female human embryonic cells, which may indicate that women can inherit children without relying on men in the future.

According to the British "Daily Telegraph" report, Karim Nayena, a professor of stem cell biology at Newcastle University, succeeded in cultivating the original sperm with adult male stem cells in April last year. Now he has repeated the process of making raw sperm with female embryonic stem cells.

The next step is to meiosis these raw sperm so that their genetic material meets the amount needed for reproduction.

Nayena confirmed the feasibility of this method in 2006. He used a sperm cultured from male mouse embryonic stem cells to breed 7 mice, 6 of which lived to adulthood but had physiological defects.

Nayena has applied for an ethical license to use female bone marrow stem cells to make female sperm. Once approved, they will begin experimenting in Newcastle, which will be more practical than using embryonic cells.

This makes it possible for lesbians to have children with both genes, because sperm made from a female bone marrow cell can be combined with the eggs of her female lover to form a fertilized egg.

Although Nayeniya is very optimistic about the prospects of cultivating female sperm in the laboratory, Robin Lofer-Baj, a stem cell expert at the National Institute of Medicine in the United Kingdom, expressed doubts: "The existence of the two X chromosomes of women and this process Incompatible. In addition, they require genes from the Y chromosome to achieve meiosis. Therefore, at least two premises negate this possibility."

Optimal Weight Management

Goji berries contain high levels of fiber, which can help you feel fuller for longer. As a result, it reduces the feeling of hunger, leading to fewer calories consumed.

Healthy Vision
A recent study has found that goji berries contain zeaxanthin, an antioxidant known for helping maintain healthy vision. It`s also the compound responsible for providing the berries with their distinctive bright red color. In the same study, the researchers found that those who consumed goji berries regularly had less hypopigmentation and less drusen in their eye.

Diabetes Management
Researchers have discovered that goji berries contain hypoglycemic properties, which can benefit diabetics. In short, consuming these berries may help control your blood sugar levels safely.

Cancer Prevention
Goji berries contain potential anticancer benefits, according to a recent study published in Life Sciences. Researchers tested Goji Berry extracts on cancer cells and found out that they induced apoptosis on the cancer, effectively stopping it from spreading further.
