Steps; actively promote the promotion of Anhua black tea industry and Anhua black tea brand, and continue to improve the visibility and influence. Make full use of Anhua black tea resources and strive to build Anhua into a hometown of Chinese dark tea with 300,000 mu of tea garden, 30,000 tons of tea annually, and an annual output value of 500 million yuan within 10 years.

In 2008, Yiyang's total tea output reached 21,000 tons, and the total output value reached more than 800 million yuan. The total output of black tea reached 18,000 tons, and the value of black tea reached more than 600 million yuan, which was more than four times that of 2006. Yiyang has become China's larger black tea production base, and it is also the more active black tea culture development base.

In October 2009, the first China-Hunan (Yiyang) Black Tea Culture Festival and Anhua Black Tea Exhibition was grandly held in the Yiyang Tea Market. The title of “Hometown of Chinese Black Tea” officially fell to Yiyang.

In 2010, Yiyang Tea Market Online Shopping Center was established and black tea products were sold at home and abroad.
