Air-cooled diesel engine type A fuel injection pump assembly debugging precautions

The F6L912 diesel engine for the excavator uses A-type fuel injection pump and RSV governor (full mechanical governor). A-type and B-type pumps are basically similar, but there are the following points need to pay special attention, otherwise it is easy to cause failure. 1. Fuel Pump Assembly (1) The assembly of the plunger and the outlet valve is different from the B-type pump. The plunger must be removed one by one, installed one, can not be completely disassembled and then installed new, otherwise it will change the original plunger stroke, resulting in changes in the amount of oil supply. (2) When assembling the plunger, pay attention to align the oil chamber on the plunger with the corresponding oil hole on the plunger sleeve. (3) When installing the pump body, the locking groove on the plunger sleeve should be aligned with the locking screw on the outside of the pump. 2. Adjustment of fuel supply The A-type fuel injection pump uses a rack-and-pinion type oil control mechanism. The adjustment method of the fuel supply is also slightly different from that of the B-type pump. (1) Subpump (single) adjustment. Instead of disassembling the injection pump, just loosen the lock nut and screw in or unscrew the adjusting screw to adjust the height of the roller parts, thereby changing the fuel feed advance angle of the sub-pump. (2) Overall adjustment. Loosen the fastening screws of the gear rings of each sub-pump, and then, as needed, rotate the sleeve and the plunger relative to the plunger sleeve at an angle to adjust the oil supply of each cylinder at the same time. That is: Loosen the fastening screw and turn the oil control sleeve clockwise to increase the amount of oil. Turn the counterclockwise to control the oil volume to reduce the oil volume. (3) Test bench adjustment. First fix the oil pump on the test bench, and then connect the inlet and outlet tubings and the high pressure tubing. Rotate the flywheel of the test bench so that the oil pump comes up. Turn on the power and start the test bench. Then rotate the operating handle to increase the speed when rotating clockwise, and reduce the speed when rotating counterclockwise. Adjust according to the data displayed on the electronic display: at the start speed (325r/min), the fuel supply is 6mIJ; at the maximum speed (1050r/min), the fuel supply is 5mL; at idle, the throttle control lever is free State), the oil supply is 1.5 to 2 mL. If the fuel supply does not match the specified value, adjust each sub-pump in turn according to the sub-pump adjustment method until it meets the requirements. After assembly and adjustment, use a clean white cloth and a thin wire to pump the oil out of the upper part of the oil valve and the injector. 3. Injector Adjustment The injectors of the F6L912 diesel engine consist of a tightening cap, a medium body, a pressure regulating spring, an injector body, an injector filter element, a gasket, a return pipe joint, a return oil plug, a pressure regulator gasket, a push rod , Cylindrical pin, positioning pin and needle valve and other components, is a 4-hole closed injector. The orifice diameter is 0.285mm and the injection pressure is 17.5-18.3MPa. The pressure value of the injector is changed by adjusting the pressure washer, and the pressure is 19.5-20.0 MPa.
