There are two kinds of planting methods. One is to combine the past two ridges (between 60 cm and 65 cm in ridge distance) to form a large ridge, and to plant two rows of corn on the ridge. The distance between the small rows is 40 cm and the distance between rows is 80 cm or 90 cm. In the second method, the past ridges are combined into two major ridges, and two rows of corn are planted on each major ridge, that is, the past three lines have been changed into four lines, with a 30 cm spacing between small lines and a large line spacing of 60 cm or 67.5 cm.
