Apply cautery to the base of the yak horn with a caustic pot until bleeding. The operation should be careful. If the application is incomplete, the growth point of the corner cannot be destroyed. The corners will still grow. Generally, about a week after smearing, the scabs on the application area will fall off on their own. This method should be used to separate from other yak at the beginning of the decapitulation while avoiding rain, so as to prevent caustic potassium from flowing into the eyes or causing facial skin damage.
Third, pay attention: 1, yak dehorning from the original cattle should be isolated. 2. The chamfering equipment must be washed and thoroughly disinfected before use. 3. After being chased, it should be isolated for several days for observation and emergency handling. 4. In the initial stage of chamfering, interference by mosquitoes and flies should be avoided as much as possible. 5. Older cattle can use saws, rakes, or other special dehorners.
