The Gushi County Court found that the defendant Xu was the Supervisor of the Animal Health Supervision and Inspection Station of Liji Road in Henan Province and the defendant Daimou was the quarantine officer at the checkpoint.
In March this year, the Bureau of Livestock and Animal Husbandry of Henan Province issued an emergency notice requesting the inspection of pigs out of the province by 45 animal health inspection stations in the province. The two defendants released the vehicles without sampling the pigs for lean meat sampling according to regulations. The defendant Daimou forged the two pigs in the station's clenbuterol test book and sampled each of the three live pigs. Semen test and ractopamine test were negative records.
On April 21st, the Wuxi Animal Health Surveillance Institute of Jiangsu Province detected and monitored a group of live pigs for clenbuterol. All the clenbuterol (clenbuterol) test results in the sample were positive.
The court held that the defendants Xu Mou and Dai Mou as the staff of the animal health supervision and inspection station were seriously irresponsible in the inspection work. It knows that lean meat quality testing must be conducted on imported and exported provincial pigs.
