Can't ignore the mechanical "holes"

There are many "holes" on many machines, especially on the engine. Some people often ignore the role of these small holes, affecting the service life of the machinery, and even accidents and consequences that should not occur. In fact, although the hole is small, it plays a significant role. In the process of using and maintaining the engine, we must pay attention to the big role of the hole. (I) Start-injection hole on the cylinder head Conical-starting orifice with a diameter of about 2 mm is mounted on the engine air cap. If the assembly is improper or does not clear the carbon deposit in the hole for a long time, it will cause the clogging of the nozzle, and thus make the engine difficult to start. (B) The small vent hole in the crankcase bonnet The vent hole in the crankcase cover is used to remove the exhaust gas from the crankcase which is invaded by the cylinder. If the cold resistance is serious, it can cause leakage of oil in the crankcase. Will reduce the quality of the lubricant inside the box. (c) Small vents on the fuel tank cap The vent holes in the fuel tank cap are used to adjust the gas pressure in the tank to ensure that the inside of the tank will not create a vacuum and affect the oil supply. If it fails to block, it will cause oil supply difficulties, resulting in a drop in engine power. (4) The role of lubrication hole in the small end of the connecting rod and lubrication hole on the bushing is to timely transport the oil to the small end of the connecting rod and the bushing to reduce the wear. If it does not work, it will accelerate the wear of the connecting rod and the bush, causing the engine to produce a knocking sound. (e) Dust removal holes on the dust cover of the air filter This dust removal hole is used to remove dust from the air and reduce the strain on the filter. If it is blocked, dust cannot be discharged in time, causing the engine to have insufficient power due to insufficient air supply. (6) The small hole below the clutch housing is used to drain the oil in the clutch. If it does not pass, the oil in the clutch cannot be discharged, which can cause the clutch to slip and accelerate its wear. (7) Ventilation holes in the gearbox cover oil will increase the temperature inside the gearbox due to friction and other factors. The air and moisture in the gearbox will expand. These gases will be discharged through the ventilation holes on the oil plug. If it is blocked, it will cause gear oil leakage and other faults. (h) The drain hole below the cooling water pump housing This drain hole is used to drain the water leaked by the water seal between the impeller and the housing. If it is blocked, these waters will not be discharged and the bearing damage will be accelerated.
